Exit the airport left/East towards Christiansted At the intersection of the airport road and the Melvin H Evans Highway (66) turn right/East towards Christiansted At the Sunny Isles Intersection (811) turn right (South) on to the Hess Road (68) At the Hovensa intersection turn left (East) continue straight until the road makes a T intersection with the Southside Road. Turn right (South) on to the Southside Road (62). Follow the Southside Road. The road runs south to the shore then turns left (East) running parallel to the ocean. Make the first left turn (about a mile) on to 83. Drive north on 83 one mile. Make the next right (622) after the Cathrines Rest store. If you go around to the curve to Way of the Cross Church you’ve just missed the turn. Haypenny Rest is a mile from the turn, around the bend. From the “gut” (local term for cement culvert over a stream) Haypenny Rest is the seventh house on the left. Look for the sugar mill at the base of our driveway. Total travel time: about 15 minutes.

From Christiansted and the Sea Plane harbor.

Drive south away from the harbor on either Watergut Street or King Street. At the Bassin Triangle intersection (straight from Watergut/left from King) turn to Route70 Centerline Road. At the 753 intersection stay straight. At the next intersection, 83, go straight south down the hill. You will pass the Synagogue and Mormon Temple. The road makes a T intersection in front of Way of the Cross Church. Go left (East). Haypenny Rest is a mile from the turn, around the bend. From the “gut” (local term for cement culvert over a stream) Haypenny Rest is the seventh house on the left. Look for the sugar mill at the base of our driveway.
